The School District of Washington’s WINGS Educational Foundation is proud to announce the 15th class into the Hall of Honor. The WINGS Hall of Honor was initiated in 2009 to recognize alumni, former District educators, and community contributors who have shown exceptional personal, community or professional achievement. The 2024 honorees include Gael Wood, who will receive the Alumni Award; Jennifer Giesike, who will receive the Community Contributor Award; and Diane Schwab, who will receive the Educator Award. The honorees will be presented with their awards at the annual WINGS Hall of Honor dinner on Saturday, September 28, at the Washington Elks Hall. Doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner takes place at 6 p.m. with the program to follow. Tickets are $50 per person ($30 for School District of Washington staff) with tables of eight available. Reservations may be made by mailing a check payable to the WINGS Educational Foundation, Hall of Honor, P.O. Box 203, Washington, MO 63090, or by sending through Venmo to @WINGS-Foundation.
